Our cottage is surrounded by sheep, which means I can't let Herman out as there is nothing Herman likes more than savaging sheep. Herman isn't a ferrel child but our lurcher and a fine beast he is too! Actually I am exaggerating it's more chase than savage.
Our neighbours and real country folk (not city usurpers like us), advise he should be put into a pen with an angry ram just to let him know who's boss...
I came across local artist Stephen Duffy who amongst other things creates these wonderful lino cuts depicting local animals fishermen and landscapes. I really love Stephen's work and was thrilled to be able to sell his work through Folk at home.
To see Stephen's pottery painting and full range of cards check out his web site www.delfanddufy.com and see him on Kirsty's home made home.
We Folk will be at the Country Living fair at The Design Centre London from 24th - 28th March 2010
